2024 Photo Exhibit & Reception
The Montgomery Photo Festival photography exhibit will be on display at Stonehenge Gallery, July 10 to August 30.
Please join us for the opening reception Saturday, July 13, 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m. refreshments will be available.
Winners of this sixth annual photography exhibit will be announced at the reception. Five awards will be given: best of show, $1,000; and the best in each of four categories (color, black and white, manipulation, and alternative process), $500 each.
The exhibit will remain at Stonehenge Gallery until August 30 when it will move to the International Art Center at Troy University.
The opening reception for the high school student photo exhibit will be held at the Society of Arts & Crafts gallery Saturday, July 13 from 2-4 p.m. The gallery is located at 529 South Perry Street in Montgomery.
Now in its sixth year, the Montgomery Photo Festival (formerly called the Society of Arts & Crafts/Stonehenge Gallery Photo Competition) is presented by the Society of Arts & Crafts (SAC's), a non-profit organization committed to the advancement of art education and art appreciation. The informal Montgomery area photo group called the "9" and the staff at SAC's are supplying the volunteer labor to make this event happen.
